4. The secondary
They call it the NO FLY ZONE for a reason, and that’s because if you’re trying to test Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib, you’re going to need more than a little good luck to get a completion.
Especially with the way the pass rush has played, these corners are pressing and making sure nothing gets behind them. That was apparent all day against the Ravens and the return of T.J. Ward only adds another big time weapon to a unit that is probably the most dynamic in the NFL right now.
It’s going to be fun watching this secondary go against the versatile Alex Smith, who can extend plays with his legs. If the Broncos’ pass rush is able to close in fast, Smith will be forced into a lot of quick passes where the Broncos can attack downfield.
