#2- Tim Tebow only needs two to win
The 2011 season for the Denver Broncos will be remembered for Tim Tebow’s miracle comebacks. However, in this game, a comeback was not needed.
Going up against their AFC West rivals, Tebow and the Broncos used a heavy rushing attack to keep the Kansas City defense at bay. The Broncos ran the ball 55 times during that game. In contrast to the passing game, the Broncos only threw the ball eight times.
However, Tim Tebow only completed two of the eight passes that entire game. But the second throw that ended up being completed put the game away.
Halfway through the fourth quarter, Tim Tebow connected on a 56 yard strike to Eric Decker, who was behind every member of the Kansas City secondary. And walked in the end zone to give the Broncos a 17-7 lead.
Even with the passing game out of the picture, the Broncos would go on to win the game and begin a magical time known as Tebow Time.
