Prediction
It is never easy going into a hostile environment after facing a physical team just four days earlier. Kansas City fans will be playing in their home opener as well, so the crowd is going to be really excited for this game.
In my season prediction when the schedule was first released, I predicted a Broncos loss here because of the short week and the divisional battle. The final score of that game was a close 23-21 Chiefs win, but the Broncos defense has me thinking twice about that score.
They looked phenomenal in the first game of the season, and with the offensive line and Peyton Manning still trying to adjust, they will be relied upon again, but will be ready for the challenge.
The offense does put up their first touchdown’s of the season. One by a Manning touchdown pass and the other by a C.J. Anderson touchdown run. The Broncos defense holds the Chiefs in check and keeps them out of the end zone. The Broncos escape Arrowhead Stadium with a close win.
