X-Factors
C.J. Anderson
The Broncos might have to rely a lot on their running game against the tough pass rush of the Chiefs. C.J. Anderson was pretty hard on himself from last week’s game and wants to improve from that game. This could be a good time to do it.
The Chiefs allowed 98 yards rushing against the Houston Texans. While they kept that number under 100 yards, the numbers put them at 17th in the league. However, C.J. Anderson enjoyed some huge success last year at Arrowhead.
Last season, Anderson rushed for 168 yards on 32 attempts. Quite a remarkable 5.3 yards per attempt. If C.J. Anderson wants to improve, the Kansas City Chiefs could be a good chance to do it.
T.J Ward
Ward is going to be returning from his one game suspension on Thursday and he is looking forward to his first action of the 2015 season. He had success against the Chiefs last season as he recorded 11 tackles and one sack in the 2014 season against the AFC West rivals.
He will definitely be playing with a chip on his shoulder after serving his one game suspension and I look for him to come firing right out of the gate and further improving the Orange Crush defense.
