It is finally here Broncos fans! The regular season begins today at Sports Authority Field at Mile High when the Denver Broncos square off against the Baltimore Ravens. Both teams will be meeting in the regular season opener for the second time in three years.
The Broncos are flying under the radar, but do not be surprised if they go all the way this season and win the Super Bowl. This is a tough test to open up the season.
Here is a list of the game day inactives.
QB Trevor Siemian, CB Curtis Marsh, CB Lorenzo Doss, OLB Lerentee McCray, G Shelley Smith, TE Mitchell Henry, DE Kenny Anunike
There is not any huge stories to report from the Broncos side. Lerentee McCray was listed as questionable for the season opener but as the inactive report shows, he will not play today.
Another story line is the unseasonable weather in Denver today. The weather is set to reach 90 degrees at kickoff. The weather is set to be around the mid 80s throughout the game.
Emmanuel Sanders will be the punt returner today. What do you think about that? I am excited to see what he can do in the return game today.
The Broncos are the favorites going into this game, but look for this game to be a shootout. The Broncos carry an edge on the defensive side of the football. Look for Peyton Manning to throw some deep balls to test the Ravens secondary. And the Broncos offensive line will definitely be looked at. How will the offensive line of Sambrailo, Mathis, Paradis, Vasquez, and Harris do?
There is a lot to look forward to. Chime in throughout the game in the comments section below.
