Coming off their third loss of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos had a meeting at home with the 4-8 Ravens. This was supposed to be a walk in the park, but history against the Ravens proved different.

The game was a defensive battle, with the Broncos and Ravens only managing field goals in the first half. The Broncos led 6-3 at the half. In the third quarter, Jake Plummer finally got Denver in the endzone with a touchdown pass to Kyle Johnson. However, a rare Jason Elam missed PAT made it 12-3.

The key moment in that game came about midway through the fourth quarter. With the Ravens threatening to score to bring the game to within two points, the Broncos defense held strong, stopping the Ravens from the two yard line three straight plays.

The Ravens would score with about two minutes to play, but the Broncos held on for the 12-10 victory, giving the team 10 wins on the season.
