Broncos preseason: 5 stars in victory over Texans

5. Ronnie Hillman, RB

Ronnie Hillman continues to be the most impressive back on the Broncos’ roster in preseason action. We obviously saw what C.J. Anderson can do last year, but Hillman provides the element of speed that no other Broncos runner has. With Hillman progressing the way he has and earning the 2nd running back spot, Montee Ball’s future is in question.

That’s another story for another day. Hillman’s first two preseason games have been fantastic, and he was at it again against Houston with 54 yards on 8 carries.

If he keeps this up, he’s going to get plenty of touches in the regular season.
