It was nothing short of shocking to see Louks back deep to receive the opening kickoff, but you have to think the Broncos have seen something in the former QB to give him that shot.

He finished with two 26 yard kickoff returns as well as the game-winning catch, adjusting on a really nice timing play with Trevor Siemian for the touchdown. As a former QB, Louks probably provided a the perfect target on that play which was all about coming back to the ball at the last possible moment, completely fooling the defensive back.

While Louks is a relative unknown at this point, this game was a coming out party for him. The Broncos obviously have a need at the return position, which shockingly Omar Bolden received no reps at in this game, but Louks could earn himself a spot on the practice squad if he has games like these to close out the preseason.
