Broncos Preseason: 10 players to watch vs. Texans

6. Todd Davis, LB

The hard-hitting Davis has quickly become one of my favorite players on the defense, and he should be on your radar as well.

The Broncos have done a phenomenal job of unearthing gems at the linebacker position, and they stole Davis away from the New Orleans Saints last year.

While other players have been on the team longer, Davis’ talent against both the run and pass have stood out, and should anything happen to either Brandon Marshall or Danny  Trevathan, the position would be in good hands with Davis still out there. The Broncos will need to find ways to keep him on the field this season, and I’m sure we’ll see Wade Phillips get a little creative.
