In the Broncos’ first preseason game, Barrett was phenomenal in my opinion. He showed an incredible ability to get to the quarterback, as he did last season, and he’s close to locking up a spot on the 53-man roster if you ask me.

With Lerentee McCray sidelined and having come off an underwhelming 2014 season, it’s Barrett’s show to steal at this point. He’s such natural pass rusher, and the Broncos can never have enough of those as far as I’m concerned.

The former Mountain West defensive player of the year will have suitors if Denver chooses to let him go, per my intel, and another big preseason game could force their hand at keeping him on the roster for good.
