3/4. Ty Sambrailo & Ryan Harris, OT
Ty Sambrailo and Ryan Harris are going to be under the microscope with the first team offensive line.
Keep in mind — I warned you all not to overreact to training camp and the preseason. It’s going to take more than a few weeks — months even — to get these guys up front all on the same page and playing well together.
For a rookie like Sambrailo, this could be a humbling game. He’s going up against one of the most talented 7-man fronts in the NFL, so don’t be surprised if some of those pass rushers get past him a time or two. The key is going to be how Sambrailo responds, and how he fights back.
The Broncos will also get to find out what kind of presence Ryan Harris is at right tackle against the dominance of J.J. Watt. You cannot stop Watt, but merely hope to contain him. Watt is such a phenomenal athlete of course, but he’s also a technician and one of the most relentless players in the league.
These guys will have their hands full, along with the rest of the offensive line.
