Prediction

Preseason games can be so unpredictable, and this game figures to be no different. The first preseason game is a chance for both teams to test the waters and see what works and what does not. So, predicting this game was a bit tricky for me.

With the majority of the starters on both sides sitting, I foresee this game being a low scoring affair. This game will be the definition of a defensive game. And as always, no matter what time of year it is, CenturyLink Field is always a tough place to play. The Broncos know that first hand as they got crushed 40-10 in the 2013 preseason. Not to mention they mounted a comeback in the 2014 season, only to fall in overtime last season during the regular season.

This will be important for the Broncos to see what they have behind the first team. But as long as they get a quality performance from the majority of their players, there will be no shame in losing this game. With it possibly being a low scoring affair, I think Brock will play with a chip on his shoulder and do enough early on for the defense to cruise control to victory.

Final Score: Broncos 17 Seahawks 12
