Football is back Broncos Country. After waiting seven months after Denver’s heartbreaking loss in the divisional round to the Indianapolis Colts, the Broncos take the field for the first time since to take on the Seattle Seahawks in the first preseason game of the 2015 season.

This will mark the fifth straight preseason in which these two teams have squared off. They have split the first four meetings. However, each one of the Seahawks victories in the preseason came in convincing fashion, winning by double digits. The Broncos won last season’s preseason tilt 21-16.

This figures to be an interesting game. We will get to see the brand new Broncos zone blocking scheme offense go up against one of the best defenses in recent years in the Seattle Seahawks. We will get to see a bit of Brock Osweiler in the game as well as he will start for the Denver Broncos Friday night.

The Broncos faithful will also get a chance to see Gary Kubiak and his coaching staff on the field for the first time. Seeing Kubiak, Rick Dennison, Wade Phillips, and Joe DeCamillis back in the blue and orange will send nostalgia for some long time Broncos fans.

With the first preseason game, it figures to be a way for both teams to have their players test the waters and see what works and what does not. Let us jump right into it and cover the key parts for Friday night’s contest. In this article, we will go over injury reports, key matchups, X-Factors, and I will give my prediction on the final score of the game.

For you Broncos fans that are not in the Colorado area or nearby, the game will be televised nationally on NFL Network. The game will air after the conclusion of the Titans/Falcons game, which is around 10 PM EST/ 7PM PST.
