The Pro Football Hall of Fame is not often kind to offensive linemen due to the lack of pizzazz the position brings. However, we saw Will Shields speaking at the ceremony over the weekend, so there should be no reason Tom Nalen does not get elected in the future either.

Tom Nalen was a key part to the Denver Broncos Super Bowl runs in the ’90s. Not to mention that he was part of an offensive line that help lead six different running backs to 1,000 yard rushing seasons. In my opinion, Tom Nalen is the best center to ever play for the Denver Broncos.

His other achievements include winning the NFL Alumni offensive lineman of the year in 2003. He is also the product of a Broncos system of successful players that were drafted in the later rounds. Tom Nalen was a seventh round draft pick but played in almost 200 games for the Broncos, nearly starting all of them. If Will Shields got in, Tom Nalen should too.
