An undrafted free agent out of Duke in 2014, Thompson worked his way onto the active roster and most gamedays with a fantastic ability to do a lot of things really well.

What do I mean by that? Well, Thompson is a powerful runner, he’s a great pass protector, he catches the ball well, and he plays special teams. Heck, at Duke, he even played a little linebacker.

This is one of the Broncos’ best secret weapons, and for his ability to do all of those things well, I think you’re looking at a guy that’s going to be near impossible to cut outright. He’s not a big time playmaker as a running back, but he can get short, tough yardage and around the goal line, he’s a beast.
