2. How does Ty Sambrailo handle blocking for Peyton Manning’s behind?

Ty Sambrailo has perhaps the biggest expectations of any Broncos rookie. He’s going to be protecting the backside of Peyton Manning.

Luckily, Manning hasn’t been too hard on Sambrailo…yet.

“He’s been good and a good guy to talk to. Obviously, you don’t want to upset him at all. I’m just trying to do everything right all the time and he’s been good kind of helping me, asking me on protections what I was doing and what I was looking at, stuff like that.”

The huge responsibility and task at hand for Sambrailo is something he can’t get overwhelmed by. As he put it, you have to take it each day at a time. As boring as it is to hear players say that, in his particular case, it’s extremely true.

Sambrailo, luckily, is entering a situation where he’ll be playing in an offense with a lot of similarities to the one he just graduated from at Colorado State.

“Yeah, this is a very similar scheme to what I ran in college, as well, so the transition’s been pretty smooth. [There are] a lot of the same schemes, just different verbiage. It’s been a pretty easy, quick transition mentally.”
