As we get closer to training camp beginning later this month, all of us here on Predominantly Orange will be breaking down different players and position groups to prepare you for when the pads come on at Dove Valley.  Instead of analyzing a specific player, I decided that it would be fun to go over all of the teams in the AFC and predict how they will fare this year.  The teams will be ranked countdown style, going from last place (the basement) to the top of the division (the champs).

Division Overview

When looking at all of the rosters in the AFC, it’s clear that the AFC West is a division on the rise with a plethora of young talent to spare.  The AFC West boasts three teams that have made the playoffs in the last few seasons, with one making a Super Bowl appearance. One thing that all four teams share going into the 2015 season is a stable quarterback situation.  If nothing else, this division should have no shortage of good production coming from the QB position.  Aside from that, the teams in this division have a variety of great strengths and glaring weaknesses.  In true countdown fashion, I will begin with the team that I think is likely to be in the basement of the AFC West this year, the Oakland Raiders.
