In a fantasy world, who’s more valuable: Demaryius Thomas or Dez Bryant?
Before Wednesday afternoon, neither the Denver Broncos’ Demaryius Thomas nor the Dallas Cowboys’ Dez Bryant had signed long-term deals with their respective teams.
They did not participate in any team activities and anxiety built up to uncomfortable levels behind closed doors with the start of training camp just mere weeks away. Even a report surfaced about a “collusion” of sorts between the Broncos and the Cowboys.
Thomas and Bryant eventually signed long-term contracts, but this was still obviously a huge distraction for both organizations.

Fans, teammates, coaches, general managers, owners, just about everybody relatively involved with this unprecedented contractual holdup were presumably nervous wrecks.
Everyone except fantasy football owners, that is. For now, let’s take a step away from the real-life drama that recently plagued these NFL teams.
When your fantasy draft begins and are eventually put on the spot to make your first-round pick, what happens when the two best players on the board are Bryant and Thomas?
It comes down to personal preference, really. The 2010 first-round draftees have attained elite status and are making their own unique mark on the League as the seasons pile up.
Thomas started out of the gates slow due to various injuries and inconsistent quarterback play, while Bryant has seemingly been a stud ever since he stepped foot out onto the field.
Following up historic 2014 seasons, each receiver will be highly coveted in drafts around the country.
In short, who’s it going to be: Demaryius or Dez? Here we break it down for all of you fantasy owners out there.
