Nathan Palmer is one of the 90 players on the Denver Broncos roster whom is competing for a spot on the roster. However, that is not stopping him from working on his second career if football does not end up panning out.
Under the stage name NaPalm, Nathan Palmer released his new single, titled “Rings.” This was his first song released in three months, when he released his debut mixtape called “Life as a Bachelor.” He took a backseat to music while he was participating in OTA’s and Mini Camp. Now with the free time until training camp begins, Nathan Palmer went right back to the studio to work on more music.
The song “Rings” is described as a motivational song set to describe the struggles a player could endure while chasing a championship.
I think this is awesome what Nathan Palmer is doing in his spare time. The world of professional football can be unpredictable. One hit could end a career and the various stories I have read on concussions in the NFL could be devastating to an individual during their post-career. Plus, it is never a bad idea to have a fall back plan in case a career choice does not work out.
Listening to Nathan Palmer’s music, I think he could make it in the music industry.
Some of his other songs include hits like “Cassanova,” “Come Over,” and “Show Off.”
When training camp begins at the end of July, Nathan Palmer will be competing for a spot on the roster as a wide receiver. While it could be a long shot for him, he was able to get some important reps with the team while Demaryius Thomas has been absent while both the Broncos and Thomas work on a long-term deal.
If football is not the answer for Nathan Palmer, a career as a R&B artist could be the next best thing for him. If you want to listen to his music, go follow his account on Soundcloud, RealNaPalm.
