2. What’s Up With Peyton Manning?

Prior to his injury last season, Peyton Manning was playing at a Peyton Manning level. After the injury, it could have really just been any other guy out there, to be frank.

Manning wasn’t himself, and he knew it. The Broncos knew it. John Elway knew it. And no one did anything about it except throw him on the injury report and continue to let him play. As much as people might hate to admit it, the older Manning gets, the more susceptible he might be to these kinds of injuries. It happens to everyone in this league.

That said, Manning coming back fully healthy and ready to go is going to again be a treat for Broncos fans to watch. He’s still Peyton Manning. The Broncos will likely have him on a bit of a shorter leash this season in terms of, if he’s not healthy, he might actually not play. If fully healthy, we can expect Manning to be Manning.

No matter who is blocking for him.
