4. Josh Watson, Defensive End

The former Clemson defensive end is a perfect fit for the 3-4 defensive line at 6-4 290 pounds, and he absolutely shredded the Clemson pro day with 38 bench press reps of 225 pounds and a sub-five second 40 yard dash at his size.

Athletically, everything is there for Watson. The Broncos are pretty well set on the defensive line in terms of their depth, but Watson could turn out to be a heck of a developmental player with the requisite measurables to play in the NFL. He’s already 25 years old, but that’s okay.

His closing speed could afford him some extra attention from coaches and give the Broncos confidence that even if he can’t crack the rotation in 2015, perhaps he could in 2016 or beyond.
