When it comes to players in the NFL today, Peyton Manning is perhaps one of the classiest players to ever play the game. His latest act is just another example of how much of a great person he is.

On Tuesday, according to ESPN, Peyton Manning sent a handwritten letter and an autographed photo for a fan named Logan Brown. The 15 year old teen was killed by a head-on collision with another car by a drunk driver. During the fatal accident, the driver’s blood alcohol content was four times the legal limit.

Logan’s grandmother wrote to Peyton Manning to tell him about the story of her grandson, who has been a fan of his since his days with the Indianapolis Colts. The family even took him to a Colts game when he was younger and idolized the future hall of famer at an early age. In fact, the family had planned to take Logan to a Broncos game this season to see his idol before the fatal crash took his life.

The package containing the letter and autographed photo from Peyton Manning himself arrived at the house the day of what would have been Logan’s 16th Birthday.

This is just another amazing act of kindness from Peyton Manning. We all understand that Peyton Manning, as well as other NFL players, do not have a lot of time on their hands. However, it always makes it worthwhile when they take the time out to reach out to fans.

It always means a lot to fans no matter if it is just a simple autographed photo or letter from a favorite player. The fact that some players will reach out and do just a little bit more to make a person’s day is beyond remarkable. Peyton Manning, without question, is one of the most idolized players and he proved it with his kind gesture for Logan Brown’s family.
