Honorable Mention
Montee Ball
Coming off of a disappointing 2014, while heading into training camp as C.J. Anderson’s backup, nobody will really be scrambling to draft Montee Ball. There’s hope for the young running back, though.
Depending on how much Gary Kubiak and Rick Dennison believe in him, Ball could receive his fair share of carries in 2015, particularly around the goal line when it matters the most to fantasy owners.
Ronnie Hillman
The maligned running back is buried on the depth chart behind C.J. Anderson and Montee Ball, and possibly Juwan Thompson based on how training camp goes. Yet, Ronnie Hillman could make quite the impact for the Broncos this season.
He was exceptional when filling in for an injured Ball midseason, injecting some much needed life and explosiveness into Denver’s predictable offense. A scatback role looks to be in Hillman’s future, that is if he’s still with the team come season’s start.
Connor Barth
Veteran kicker Connor Barth replaced the middling Brandon McManus beautifully last season, making good on 15/16 field goals in all of five games.
He had the highest fantasy point average (12.8) among kickers down the stretch, making him another hot commodity in 2015.
