Denver Broncos’ inside linebacker Brandon Marshall had quite a solid 2014 campaign for the team. Leading the team in tackles last season, he is perhaps one of the most important pieces to the defense in 2015. Well, some good news has come from the breakout star.

After undergoing foot surgery in March, Brandon Marshall announced that he is planning to start running next week after it was revealed the foot injury he sustained was in fact a Lisfranc injury. This was the same injury that placed Ryan Clady on the shelves for nearly all of the 2013 season.

This has to excite a lot of Broncos fans and it came at a good time as well. This will give Brandon Marshall a chance to test out his foot to make sure the surgery went well. If all goes well, it will be a step in the right direction as he looks to come back even stronger in 2015.

The Broncos are in Super Bowl or Bust mode going into the 2015 season. Brandon Marshall is going to play such a key role in the defense, so having him at full strength going into training camp is going to be ideal.

Brandon Marshall looks to become a starting inside linebacker in the Broncos’ new 3-4 defense. Due to his performance in 2014, he is all but locked up for the spot. However, Gary Kubiak has yet to see what Brandon Marshall can do because of his Lisfranc injury. But like everyone in Broncos Country, the result should be that he will be impressed.

I am looking forward to how Brandon Marshall will do after a successful 2014 season. It should be interesting to see, especially since he will be in a new position in the defense as he looks to man the middle of the field. Broncos Country looks forward to some great things from the “other” Brandon Marshall.
