Von Miller Leading Broncos In Fart Tax Dollars Paid

facebooktwitterreddit

It was recently revealed that the Denver Broncos apparently have a tax on farts, and that Von Miller is leading the way in fines.

I mean, this would make plenty of sense. Miller has made statements this offseason about his changed diet, and as someone who has done so frequently, I can attest that it does things to your stomach that you’d rather not keep in. But do the Broncos really have the ability to fine him for this?

Buzz kill.

Still, it’s funny to see others around the web react to these comments, how seriously they do or don’t take it, and what their readers have to say in the comments.

You’ll want to read the comment section of that Deadspin article. There are some serious gems.

DeMarcus Ware, for what it’s worth, admitted the rumors about a fart tax were true, and that he would know since he sits by Miller in the meetings.

There’s a few people that I work with who would be in serious trouble if there were a fart tax levied against our employees. What’s even worse is the people who deem it necessary to drop a dime in the main bathroom when there are private bathrooms spread across the building.

The real issue here is, why are we talking about this at all? Well, because the Broncos don’t start training camp for another month, and those tweets you see above made pretty much national news.

I’ll gladly write these stories rather than the stories we were writing about Von Miller at this time two years ago, when he was facing a six-game suspension and had reached a low point in his career with the Broncos. This is a nice breath of fresh air…

Wait.
