Ty Sambrailo

In the interest of full disclosure, I love the Colorado State Rams. Even though I enjoy promoting and writing about CSU alum, this is a legitimate option to replace Clady; or at least working his way onto the o-line in another capacity and shifting somebody else over to left tackle.

Gary Kubiak and Rick Dennison wasted no time throwing Sambrailo right into the fire today in the wake of the Clady injury. While they are looking at all of their options, Kubiak seems to believe that Ty is a legitimate option at left tackle. He expressed that to Andrew Mason of DenverBroncos.com, who then took to Twitter to express that sentiment.

The Rams had one of the best offenses in the nation over the past two seasons and Sambrailo was the anchor of that offensive line. He started 11 games (missed 2 games due to a knee injury) in 2014 en route to All-Conference first team honors in the Mountain West.  In 2013, he started all 14 games for CSU at left tackle. So the position is not strange to him.
