Peyton Manning has become a huge icon in the NFL since he was drafted all the way back in 1998. He has made countless appearances outside of the football field. One of the most common talk shows that he has made appearances ended its run last night.
The late night talk show on CBS that has been running for 22 seasons, Late Show with David Letterman, aired the final show on Tuesday Night. David Letterman has been bringing comedy to late night since the show first started back on August 30th, 1993.
Peyton Manning’s first appearance on David Letterman was back when he was still a college student at the University of Tennessee. He has made numerous appearances since then, ranging from talking about how he broke the single season touchdown record to throwing footballs into cabs in New York City.
For the final show, Peyton Manning was a part of the final Top 10. The subject of this final top ten was Things I’ve Always Wanted To Say To Dave. This final list featured ten guests who have made frequent visits to the show. Peyton Manning was joined by special guests such as Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jerry Seinfeld. Peyton Manning’s had something very interesting to say to the long time talk show host.
For 22 seasons, David Letterman has brought comedy to late night for all the individuals out there working late and wanting to enjoy some laughs or the night owl who just could not get to sleep. The various amount of skits and conversations with actors, athletes, and comedians brought us all to tears from laughing.
