For over 30 years, Pat Bowlen has been one of the more iconic members of the Denver Broncos front office. With his dedication to the team, his relationships with the players, and how he conducted himself. Pat Bowlen is one of the most respectable men in the NFL. Now the Denver Broncos are going to honor him for his hard work.

The Denver Broncos announced today that Pat Bowlen would be inducted into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame. He will become the 28th member of the Ring of Fame during halftime of the 2015 Week eight matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which is November 1st.

Pat Bowlen deserves to be in the Ring of Fame for the Denver Broncos. Since he took over as the CEO of the team in 1984, he has developed the team into a winning culture and helped the team raise up into one of the more well known franchises. Before his arrival in Denver, the team had only appeared in one Super Bowl. Pat Bowlen made a huge impact right away. In just two short years, he brought the team to their second Super Bowl in franchise history in a series of three Super Bowl births in four years.

It was not until the late ’90s where all of his hard work would pay off as the Denver Broncos captured back-to-back Super Bowls in 1998 and 1999. He continued his hard work into making sure the Broncos competed at a high level every single year. He succeeded in that as in the 30 years that he was the owner, the Broncos had only five seasons in which they did not finished with at least a .500 record. For 25 of the 30 years, the Broncos were at the .500 record or above which is remarkable for a owner being able to adjust to the competition.

It is a memorable moment for Broncos fans to see the team’s long tenured owner being honored into the Ring of Fame. We salute you Pat Bowlen and Broncos Country is hopeful that after the 2015 season, we can finally say “This One’s For Pat!”
