The Denver Broncos just continue to add on to their tight end arsenal and selected Jeff Heuerman with their third round pick in this years draft. This was quite a surprising pick for me, but his ability in the run and pass protection really impressed me.
With the Broncos moving to the zone blocking scheme, this was a smart move on their part. It will be interesting to see how he does in the offense.
Like I have done with the first two picks, I took to Twitter and see how the people of the Twitter world reacted to the pick. Let’s see what you all had to say.
We've picked Jeff Heuerman, a very experienced TE from Ohio State. He brings the right mentality & was the top guy on our board at the time.

Heuerman met with the #Broncos at combine. Said injured foot and ankle are healthy. "Couldn't be more excited to learn from (Manning)

they took 2 TEs in 2011 #NFLDraft my hope is #Broncos still add Blake Bell, Jeff Heuerman is a good blocker w/limited production as receiver

Jeff Heuerman didn't drop a single pass last year. One of 5 draft eligible power 5 TEs to do so.

I do know that Heuerman is good on twitter though. That is an excellent sign.
