Entering his 18th season in the NFL, Peyton Manning might be 39 years old. However he is not going to let that stop him from his quest to raise the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in his career and the third for the franchise.

The Broncos concluded their first voluntary minicamp on Tuesday. The majority of the players are back on the field for the first time since the heartbreaking 24-13 loss against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional Playoffs. With a new scheme on offense to learn, the players on that side of the ball were up and ready to go.

While the 2015 season can be marked as one in where the Broncos franchise hopes to win their third Lombardi Trophy, it will be a tricky one as Peyton Manning and Company look to focus on learning this new offense. However, according to Peyton Manning, do not even think of calling the Denver Broncos 2015 season a “Farewell Tour” for him.

If I have learned one thing about Peyton Manning, it is that the man never gives up. He works hard, analyzes the film every day, and puts in the extra effort to work with teammates in order to be better in sync with his wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs.

While it is still too early to determine how well Peyton Manning is going to perform after dealing with an injured quad and adjusting to the new offensive scheme, there is no doubt in my mind that he will be able to pick up on it quickly. He is ready to accept the challenge that lies ahead.

During his press conference on Tuesday, Peyton Manning pointed out that he feels that he is versatile and will have no problem with the plays that the offensive coordinator calls because of the various amount of offenses that he has been surrounded by during his career.

Whether Peyton Manning decides to make 2015 or 2016 his final season, he is looking towards the here and now, preparing himself physically and mentally, and is positive towards what is to come for the 2015 season. He believes that it does not matter where you are at any stage of your NFL career, but it comes down to doing the job correctly, and we can all pretty much agree up to this point that Peyton Manning has done that for the majority of his career.

This could be a promising season for the Denver Broncos, especially with all the adjustments the team has gone through in the last few months. Peyton Manning is ready to accept the challenge that lies ahead for him in the 2015 season, and perhaps even further beyond.
