The Denver Broncos are in the process of preparing the war room for the draft. With various mock drafts out there, the logical area that the Broncos will pick is either a player on the offensive or defensive line. That seems to be the way that the Broncos plan to go. Whether they trade up or down will vary upon how the rest of the teams pick.
There is no doubt that the draft could be filled with some surprise picks as well. We all remember how the Broncos traded back in the first round during the 2010 NFL Draft with the Baltimore Ravens in order to draft Tim Tebow, a player most analysis did not think would leave the board until the second or third round.
With the various amount of talent each prospect brings, there could be a player that falls to Denver that could become a huge surprise or that no one is really talking about. While we all know where the biggest needs for the Broncos are in the draft, I am going to provide five sleeper prospects that could be drafted by the team from the Mile High City.
