The 2015 NFL Draft is going to be a critical group of players coming in for the Denver Broncos, one that needs to make a significant impact if this team is going to contend for a Super Bowl in 2015.

For that reason, there are still a ton of different options to look at for John Elway in the first round and beyond, but that top pick will dictate everything else.

Elway was pretty cryptic, as I wrote about earlier this week, about what the Broncos’ intentions are with that top selection, and trading up is certainly an option. That said, every time I do a mock draft exercise, the players available at 28 are plentiful, and the Broncos will have a lot of options no matter where they are selecting.

The biggest question is, what does it look like if they don’t trade up or down? I went to the Fanspeak ‘On The Clock’ simulator again, and instead of taking a tackle with my top pick as I have been doing frequently, I tried a different direction in the first round in order to see how the rest of the draft might turn out.
