Brandon Marshall was the Denver Broncos’ leading tackler in 2014. Safe to say that he will be adding more to his career in the Mile High City.
According to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, which was reported by Pro Football Talk, Brandon Marshall made the tender official when he signed the contract offer the Broncos provided him with near the beginning of free agency.
Brandon Marshall will be making a little over half a million dollars this season, which is a great deal for a linebacker of his caliber. His performance was a main reason for the success of the Broncos defense.
Brandon Marshall goes into the 2015 season with high hopes, as the team is planning on moving to a 3-4 defense that should feature the Broncos’ leading tackler. The plan is to have Brandon Marshall at the inside linebacker position along with Danny Trevathan.
Brandon Marshall surprised a lot of people last season with his play and now will look to thrive off of the successful 2014 campaign and become an even better linebacker. There is no doubt in my mind that Brandon Marshall can build off of his success and have an even more eventful 2015 campaign.
He has become one of the most important pieces to this Broncos defense and I am very excited to see what else he can do when the 2015 season begins. If he can perform at that high level again this year, I would not be surprised if the Broncos sign him to a longer deal. Let’s see what this under-the-radar linebacker is capable of.
Broncos Country is behind you all the way Brandon Marshall!
