Special Teams Needs

1. Punter

The Broncos can save $2.5 million by releasing Britton Colquitt, and he’s currently not good enough to command the salary that he’s being paid. Some might disagree, some might just prefer the continuity, but the Broncos can get just as good of production out of a rookie punter as they can out of Colquitt, in my opinion.

2. Return Specialist

The Broncos need someone to return kicks and punts. Omar Bolden could be a candidate, at least for kickoff returns, but there is a desperate need for a punt returner. That player could already be on the roster, but we won’t know until training camp opens.
