The NFL Draft (April 30-May 2)

The draft will depend on who John Elway brings back to the team and how the free agency period goes.

The Broncos currently will pick 28th in the draft and the order of their selections is as follows:

1st round (own)
2nd round (own)
3rd round (own)
5th round (from Chicago)
5th round (own)
6th round (own)

It’s hard to project right now who Elway will draft. With so many pieces already in place for the Broncos to make another Super Bowl run, building depth seems as though it’ll be priority number one.

Still, there’s the possibility of trading-down or trading away a few of their draft picks. Again, depending on what happens in free agency, there likely will be no real need to keep all of those draft picks.

Simply trading a couple of those picks away might be Elway’s best option.
