Another team that the Broncos have already faced, and beat, might be making a return trip to Denver.

Both teams are much, much different animals now than they were in Week One of the season, though.

The Colts, in particular, no longer have any threat in their running game and have a defense that struggles mightily on a game-to-game basis.

Their secondary is solid with shutdown cornerback Vontae Davis lurking, but, like the rest of their defense, they’re just too inconsistent and give up too many big plays to be considered a serious threat to the Broncos’ revamped offense.

What exactly gives them a chance against the Broncos then?

Andrew Luck. Simple as that.

Luck is an absolute stud of a quarterback and is the sole reason the Colts are in the playoffs. Without him, Indianapolis is just a bottom of the barrel team.

Even if Indy somehow makes it to Denver, the Colts might just find that their “Luck” has finally run out.

Verdict: Favorable matchup, but anything’s possible.
