The Broncos linebackers are about to get even better.
Brandon Marshall has led the Denver defense, and if he isn’t the MVP of this team, he’s in the discussion. Hopefully that means the confusion people still have when they him see in a Broncos uniform is over.
Marshall has had to step up like he has because of injuries to Trevathan. Trevathan has missed most of the season in the process. The benefit is he’s fresh and the play of Marshall.
With Von Miller included, Denver has a special group of linebackers.
By all accounts, Trevathan has been flying around at practice (hence the fresh statement from above). That’s great to hear because that will only make this defense even better.
That’s saying a lot since it’s played its two best games of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. Most of the yards and points to Buffalo could be considered “garbage” since the Broncos cashed in up 24-3.
Watch Trevathan and see the impact he has on the field. How will he and Marshall play together?
As long as it means the defense can finally cover tight ends.
