Denver Broncos to Watch vs. Kansas City

It was uncertain if Marshall would play this week after the concussion he got against Miami.

Thank goodness he’s playing because the Broncos are thin at linebacker as it is.

And given what Kansas City likes to do on offense, Marshall will more than likely get the call to cover Chiefs running back Jamal Charles.

Marshall’s first and only task in this game is to become Charles’ shadow. Wherever Charles goes, Marshall is right there.

If the Broncos ends can do what is noted earlier and Marshall sticks to Charles, the defense will respond to the egg it laid against the Dolphins.

Travis Kelce is a concern given the Denver secondary cannot cover tight ends, but Charles should be the focal point of Marshal and the ends holding their water.

This game is huge for the Broncos defense after their most recent effort.

Take a cue from the Denver offensive line.
