The Denver Broncos are returning home from a long road trip that included a loss in New England, a win in Oakland, and a shocking loss in St. Louis to bring their record on the season to 7-3. On Sunday, they play host to the Miami Dolphins (6-4) who are behind the Patriots in the AFC East and in the thick of competition for the AFC Wild Card playoffs as well.
The Broncos are in a virtual must-win situation after dropping a gimme game to the Rams, and have a chance to distance themselves a bit from the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West with a win over one of the league’s top defensive units.
They know this is a huge game, and they are going to have a chip on their shoulder after losing in St. Louis a week ago. Here’s everything you need to know about this matchup with the Dolphins.

Prediction
The Broncos are favored in this game (-7) and it’s going to be a tough one for them. They have not looked impressive recently, so getting a win at home against a top defense like the one Miami boasts is a huge step forward looking at next week’s big divisional matchup against the Chiefs.
The Broncos can’t afford to look ahead, however, and need to make sure they take care of business at home against Miami. This team will be laser focused, and as long as they don’t do things to beat themselves, they should be able to cover and win this game.
