5 Broncos to Watch vs. St. Louis

Finally, what I have been calling for from the start of the season happened: The terrible Manny Ramirez was replaced at center by Montgomery.

Unfortunately, Ramirez is still playing as right guard. I’m not going to waste anymore time on him.

This is about Montgomery.

Hopefully he builds off his strong performance against the Raiders again in St. Louis (he was the highest graded offensive lineman).

There were no communication issues. No botched snaps. No getting blown up. No stupid penalties. No looking like he never played the position before.

Let’s see if Montgomery can string two straight performances together and solidify the center position – something this offense needs desperately.

If Montgomery can do that against the Rams, Denver will have found the answer at center – at least this season.
