Miller was held without a sack against the Raiders. It’s the second game in a row Miller hasn’t gotten a sack, yet he is still amongst the league leaders with nine.
He makes up for it with four sacks against the Rams.
He takes full advantage of the banged up St. Louis offensive line and an inexperienced quarterback to get back on track.
Heck, I’ll take it one step further since these are bold predictions.
DeMarcus Ware also was held without a sack against Oakland. He ends his streak as well and does so with three.
That would put Miller at 13 and Ware at 11 for the season.
This defense needs the front four to get pressure on the quarterback on its own like that. That frees up the Broncos linebackers and secondary to focus on other aspects. It just makes the defense that much better.
A seven-sack game from Miller and Ware is what the Broncos need.
