The second-year back had a phenomenal game. He had 13 carries for 90 yards rushing, plus four catches for 73 yards and a remarkable touchdown.

His one-handed 51-yard touchdown late in the second quarter gave his offense life.

Having not played but a few plays here and there, Anderson deserves a Mile High Salute and a game ball for how he played.

It gives Manning confidence when he’s back there. It gives offensive coordinator Adam Gase confidence. And it’s another weapon for defenses to plan for.
