Hopefully the Broncos play Miller to his strengths against the Raiders: Rushing the quarterback as opposed to having him drop back in coverage.

For only the second time this season, Miller was held without a sack. It happened against the Indianapolis Colts and the Patriots.

Denver needs Miller to go off. It would help to have DeMarcus Ware go off as well.

The Broncos could not get pressure on Tom Brady. They need to get pressure on rookie Derek Carr.

Denver must have the ability to get pressure on the quarterback from its front four. That starts and ends with Miller and Ware.

What will help in that regard is to stop having Miller trying to cover tight ends.

Let him do what he does best and that’s sack the quarterback.

Stop over thinking it and just play basic football.
