Nov 2, 2014; Foxborough, MA, USA; Denver Broncos tackle Ryan Clady (78) tries to block New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork (75) during the fourth quarter of New England

This isn’t just for Clady, it’s for the whole offensive line.

Those five guys need to step up. Will anyone do so?

Clady is one of the best left tackles in the NFL, and it’s time he start playing like it.

Offensive coordinator Adam Gase has finally had it with the poor play from his line in run “blocking.” The Broncos line has been terrible in the run game, and even that’s being nice.

The only reason it wasn’t discussed the last few weeks is due to the play of Ronnie Hillman. Without that, Denver no doubt would rank last in the 32-team NFL in rushing the football.

If the Broncos want to get to where they expect (win the Super Bowl) they need their offensive line to step up. They need those five guys to dominate in all aspects of the game – not just pass blocking.

I’ve said it all week, if these guys can’t run block against the Raiders defense, they are in big trouble. If they can’t run the ball, John Fox and Gase need to change things up and get guys in there who can do the job.

This is the final test for this offensive line. They’ve been called out by Gase. Will this unit rise up?
