One of the best times of the season: Oakland Raiders week.
There is nothing like a rivalry game in the NFL; especially one as historic and full of hate as Broncos and Raiders.
And on the heels of an embarrassment in Foxborough against the New England Patriots, Denver could use a divisional game to get back on track.
There’s no doubt Oakland is a bad football team and is struggling. Still, the Raiders put on a better showing in Gillette Stadium than the Broncos did. Oakland almost pulled the miracle by beating the Seahawks in Seattle.
There’s no doubt it’s cliche, but anything can happen in a rivalry game. Who expected the Cleveland Browns to humiliate Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals? Add to the fact this game is in Oakland, the Broncos can’t expect to just show up and get the win.
Denver (6-2) needs to play a complete a game. The Broncos have to do to Oakland (0-8) what they did the last time they played there: Leave no doubt who the best team in the NFL is.
They need to get back on track, and put the loss to New England in the past.
Here are five Broncos to watch who could have a big impact on the game.
