The Verdict

Sorry Julius, but Demaryius is and will continue to prove that he’s the better of the two as this season pushes on and for many years to come. “DT” is worth the high price tag and he’s truly earned every bit of it up to this point.

With Demaryius Thomas receiving the lucrative contact, Julius Thomas will likely be sent packing.

Unless in the small sliver of a chance Julius looks for a contract number that hovers around more of what he’s worth at this point, like a Martellus Bennett figure, which is close to less than half of what he’s projected to make, than perhaps he’ll be able to stick with Denver for a couple more years.

Regardless of what decision John Elway actually makes, it’ll sure be interesting to watch all of the drama play out in Denver this offseason.
