Can the Broncos’ Defense Shut Down Gronk on Sunday?

Brandon Marshall is the only linebacker on this list.
Elite edge rusher Von Miller will be too preoccupied in getting after Tom Brady. Denver’s man in the middle Nate Irving might have the size to body up Rob Gronkowski, but is not athletic enough to stay with him in coverage.
Marshall has proved to be capable in his coverage duties, for he has both the size and ability to take away opposing running backs and tight ends.
Thus far, Marshall has been a pleasant surprise for the Broncos. Since stepping in for the injured Danny Trevathan on two different occasions now, Marshall has been nothing short of great in Trevathan’s absence.
In other words, Brady and the Patriots’ offense would be unwise to underestimate Marshall.
Now, he’ll be dealing with a totally different beast, but expect Marshall to be called upon early and often to try and slow down Gronkowski.
