5 Reasons Broncos Were Right to Cut Matt Prater

I get it. Fans think Prater will come back to haunt them. 

But think about this: Would you have rather an unreliable kicker worth $4 million or keep one of the best wide receivers in the game? 

I would rather keep Thomas, who will prove far more beneficial and important to the Broncos over the long term than Prater. 

We’re talking about a team with Manning at quarterback, and fans are overreacting to a kicker?
