1. The Broncos Will Win the Game

The Seahawks are coming off of a loss on the road to the Chargers. They are coming home where they’ve lost 1 game in three seasons. They killed the Broncos in the Super Bowl. They have Richard Sherman, the only player in the league defensively that if you throw his way, the ball magically vanishes into thin air. They have Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch, who have never been bested by another NFL team.

Some of that is true, some of that is not. The Seahawks are a phenomenal football team. They have very few weaknesses. They are well coached. They are extremely disciplined in all phases of the game. Most of all, they know how to win, and they are now proven winners in this league.

But the Broncos are now built to beat the Seahawks. In the Super Bowl, the Broncos had ZERO team speed defensively. Notice the all-caps for emphasis. I don’t say that to slight guys like Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or Danny Trevathan, but the Broncos are lightyears ahead of where they were in the Super Bowl just by the default of players coming back from injury, and then you add guys like DeMarcus Ware, T.J. Ward, and Aqib Talib.

In addition to team speed defensively, the Broncos got better on the interior offensive line by swapping Zane Beadles with Orlando Franklin. They got better at getting off the line of scrimmage with the speed of Emmanuel Sanders.

Oh and by the way, the Broncos are also the best road team in the NFL (12-4) since Peyton Manning took the helm in 2012. In case you didn’t know that.

Call it a hunch, call it blind faith, call it whatever you will. I don’t really care. I think the Broncos are winning this game.
