Thursday officially marks the start of week two in the NFL, so set up your fantasy football rosters, check waivers one last time, and get ready for some more football.

The Denver Broncos are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs at home in this week two battle that pits the top two teams in last year’s AFC West standings, but this time around has a different feel. The Broncos have significantly improved over the course of this past offseason, while the Chiefs have had some big time losses, especially in recent weeks.

Through whatever set of circumstances, the Chiefs made 15 roster moves this week, which I would have assumed was an exaggeration but it in fact was not. The Chiefs shuffled around their roster, are dealing with injuries, and are really just depleted in some areas. But that doesn’t negate the importance of preparation for this week, nor does it mean the Broncos can coast.

Denver is going to need big(ger) contributions from some key players this week, players who didn’t come through or perhaps just didn’t take enough advantage of their opportunities. Here are five players I think should have breakout weeks for the Broncos against the Kansas City Chiefs.
